In 1980, Sheridan and Bill divorced but have kept a friendly relationship ever since Sheridan has now remarried to a wonderful bloke, Steve and Jennifer went on to marry all fathers dream of a husband for their daughter, Will. They now have 3 children, Amelia, Marnie and the newest addition, Quinton . I am the proud Grandfather of 3 wonderful kids.

After 14 years in the submarine service and a total of 20 years in the Royal Australian Navy, Bill was approached by a representative from the Australian Submarine Corporation (ASC) in Adelaide to join the company in the Test and Trials department. Starting as a Trials Officer in the Inspection, Test and Trials Department, Bill retired from ASC in May 2009 as the Test and Trials Manager after 20 years service. After 43 years association with submarines, serving in the older submarines and then testing and trialing the new generation of submarines, he thought it was time to give it all away and do what he enjoys the most, travelling with his wife Debbie to interesting and unusual destinations.

ABOUT US
We moved from Adelaide to Sydney in 2010. We sold our large house in the outskirts of Adelaide and brought a smaller house closer to the city which our youngest daughter occupied for us.. Debbie and I decided to move to our holiday shack in Sydney as we have so many friends up here. It was only a one room building but we built a bedroom on the side and expanded It suited us to a tee as we are only there for short periods as we spend at least 3-4 months a year overseas on holidays. In 2019 we sold our place in Sydney and moved back to Adelaide. We spent 6 months doing up our house there and then put it on the market. Took a while to sell but eventually it sold and we brought a 3 year old house on a new estate in Freeling, South Australia about 60kms from Adelaide. That's our life so far and we love it
